I hope everyone is doing well!

I wanted to take a few minutes to update everyone on several things happening with BV Baseball right now. We have a lot going on behind the scenes as we continue preparing for the upcoming season. Please take a few minutes to read through these updates.

1. BV APPAREL LINK RECAP

First, I want to thank everyone for completing the online apparel link! Venezies is hard at work getting everything ready for our uniform fitting on Saturday, November 28th.

At the fitting, you will receive the items you ordered through the link, including your son’s helmet, winter workout shirt, shell jacket, and any additional apparel you purchased.

2. BV ACADEMIC AWARDS

All BV Academic Awards have been ordered and will be ready to hand out at the uniform fitting on November 28th!

I am extremely proud to announce that we have well over 100 BV players receiving this award! That is an outstanding accomplishment, and it is great to see so many of our players putting in the effort in the classroom as well as on the baseball field.

Congratulations to all of them!

3. BV FUNDRAISER – RAFFLE TICKETS HAVE BEEN MAILED

You should have received your 20 raffle tickets in the mail. I sent all of these out last Saturday morning.

Please remember the following:

• Each player is responsible for selling or purchasing all 20 tickets.
• Bring your completed ticket stubs and money to the uniform fitting on November 28th.
• The money raised helps cover the cost of the items mentioned above.
• We ask that every family fulfill this commitment to keep things fair and consistent across the entire program.

If you have not received your tickets, please let me know, and I will get another set mailed to you.

4. UNIFORM FITTING – NOVEMBER 28TH

I am currently finalizing the details for our uniform fitting on Saturday, November 28th. This is an important date and we need all BV players present for this fitting!

There are several moving parts involved in organizing this event, and I want to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

I will send a separate email later this week/weekend with the specific times and instructions for the fitting.

5. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES

Now that many of the items above are in motion, I am turning my attention to one of the biggest projects of our offseason — putting together our tournament schedules!

I already have meetings scheduled with several BV coaches to begin this process. I have also completed my large master calendars, which include hundreds of local and regional tournaments that we are considering for our teams.

This is a very time-consuming process. It involves much more than simply choosing which tournaments we want to attend. We have to consider the level of competition, locations, dates, team schedules, and travel commitments. Once those decisions are made, the registration process for each individual tournament also takes a considerable amount of time.

This entire process typically takes several months, and my goal is to have our tournament schedules posted between the end of December and the beginning of January.

I appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through this. A lot of time and thought goes into building the best possible schedules for our teams.

6. WINTER WORKOUT SCHEDULES – AGES 8U–14U

I will also be working on finalizing our winter workout schedules for the 8U–14U teams.

Obviously, I already have our facilities and time slots reserved for the entire winter. Now comes the process of putting everything together and organizing the individual age group and team schedules.

My goal is to have these schedules posted between the end of November and the beginning of December.

7. BV PROGRAM PAYMENTS – IMPORTANT REMINDER

Finally, I want to remind everyone to please make sure your BV payments are current.

This is one of the most expensive times of the year for our program. In addition to our normal operating expenses, we are now entering the period when we must begin paying for tournament registrations for the upcoming season.

These expenses add up very quickly, and we rely on families staying current with their payment schedules so we can meet these financial obligations.

Please take a few minutes to review your account and make sure you are up to date with your payments.
